Just some background. The Trials were split into two "waves", Wave 1 this week were the "slower" of the folks that made the trials cut. There are about 100 kids total in each event between the 2 meets, all the big names will be next week. A few things off the top of my head:

Joelle Vereb---3rd in 100 breast and 12th in 50 free...great swims!
Carl Bloebaum--(Incoming Freshman) WON 200 fly and will swim in WAVE 2

Not sure any other Hokies made finals. Quite a few kids swam through this meet to point to meets later in the summer.

The future is VERY bright.
